1st Wednesday of the month 19,00 to 20,00 pm
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an evidence-based tool known as ‘’tapping ‘’.
It involves gentle systematic tapping on particular parts of the face and body, sometimes described as psychological acupuncture, as the tapping points are located at the same points which are used in the traditional acupuncture.
EFT allows us to release the intensity and transform the way uncomfortable feelings like hurt, guilt, fear, or anger may be affecting our experience. EFT can also be used to help transform the thoughts and beliefs behind our emotional experiences.
After just a few rounds of tapping, people often report feeling lighter and calmer and able to breathe more easily – almost as if they have more space inside now. They also report that their thinking has changed, they have gained new insights or that they are feeling better, overall.
EFT is an easy to learn tool available to anyone regardless of qualifications, age or background. Once you learn EFT you can self-administer at any point.
EFT can be particularly supportive for patients who are experiencing emotional impact and physical side effects of their cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The effectiveness of their outcome is enhanced as a result.
EFT enables cancer patients to grow, to find meaning in life and to become stronger, more resilient human beings, better able to deal with the issues that result from their cancer diagnosis and treatment.
There is a 3 sessions minimum commitment in order for this experience to have a greater and more lasting impact. It is possible to start this trio on any 1st Wednesday of the month.
Fee: £35 for 3 sessions including 30 min instructional recording which we highly recommend you watch before the first session and sent to you at the registration point.
During this workshop you will learn easy to apply tools that will help regulate your nervous system, release stress allowing your innate healing systems (your Immune system) to function well.
Once you release the intensity and transform the way your mind and body are responding to stress you can then start functioning more optimally.
This leads to improved sleep, better energy levels, improved immunity, you feel calm and content , your confidence improves, you can think clearly, make better decisions and enjoy your life.
EFT or tapping is a physical, body based (somatic) technique, it’s an easy to learn self care tool that when applied correctly becomes your rapid response emotional and physical first aid strategy that can transform your life.
Wednesdays 19,00 – 20,00 pm.
Next Sessions:
4th October
1st November
6th December

I am a former nurse having last worked in the cancer field in London hospitals and in palliative care. I’m also trained as a counsellor, a Health Creation coach with Dr Rosy Daniels and a Health and Wellbeing for cancer group facilitator with the charity Penny Brohn UK. I integrate EFT with other counseling modalities including elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), positive psychology and mindfulness meditation.
I have been using EFT for people affected by cancer including their supporters for more than 15 years. I’ve worked one on one with individuals and with groups for various UK cancer charities . I’ve delivered well over 200 workshops teaching individuals to use EFT in the simplest ways to support their day-to-day experiences, understanding how it regulates their stress response and therefore potentially allowing their nervous system and immune systems to more optimally function for well- being.
