In this workshop attendees experimented with a variety of materials such as acrylic paint, oil pastels, colouring pens and collages to explore our body’s innate healing capacity. They used shamanic journeying and everyone came with a scarf or other cover for their eyes. This was an opportunity for everyone to explore, play, experiment and have fun. No previous painting or creative experience was necessary.
Some background information about the workshop host, Elisabetta Fumagalli:
I met Robin Daly (the founder of Yes to Life) in 2008 at a workshop, when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I had decided to pursue an alternative approach to my healing and Yes to Life was great in helping me fundraise for my chosen treatments. Through Yes To Life I met many wonderful people who were like-minded and supported me which led to my commencement as a helpline volunteer for the charity. I am a trained artist and teacher who has been practising shamanic work for over 30 years now and am very excited to begin running workshops for Yes To Life.
