How a Personal Coach can help when newly diagnosed with cancer

23 May 2022

Hearing the words “You have cancer” triggers a cascade of emotions. Often you feel shocked and confused, as well as completely overwhelmed with the diagnosis, the amount of information you have to process and the many decisions to take in terms of treatment plan.

A Personal Cancer coach can guide you through your test results and advise you on questions to ask your medical team. It is not uncommon to seek a second opinion and this can help you though this journey. Having a better understanding of your condition and treatment options will make you feel more confident. Besides, getting organized really makes a difference; it gives you back a sense of control. A positive and constructive mindset is crucial, but sometimes easier said than done. You can find out in this forum how this can support you in difficult moments while teaching you techniques to cope with stress, fear, anger and anxiety. In this webinar, Isabel Galiano, will explain how a personal cancer coach can help you in this journey.

Isabel Galiano is a Nutrition & Health Coach, specializing in working with patients affected by cancer. She is a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Certified Yoga Instructor, Reiki Practitioner, and member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (UK) and is the Co-founder and Head of Coaching of The Cancer Coach.org
