Dr Ricardo Ghelman is the clinical director of the Instituto Ghelman Medicina Integrativa in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He graduated medicine at UFRJ in 1986 and studied pediatric oncology and hematology at UNICAMP in 1991. Since the beginning of college he researched complementary health practices, having completed his training at the Brazilian Association of Anthroposophical Medicine in 1990.
In addition to being a pediatrician, he is a GP and family physician. He has a Master’s Degree in embriology and anatomy from USP and completed his doctorate at Escola Paulista de Medicina in cancer immunology. From 2006 to 2014 he coordinated the Nucleus of Anthroposophical Medicine at UNIFESP and since 2016, he has also been a member of the clinical staff at the Faculty of Medicine at USP in the area of integrative and complementary practices in pediatric health and oncology.
