Organic Herb Trading Company was founded in 1982 by organic luminary Mike Brook who began growing herbs in a field near his home. They now source and supply over 500 products, from more than 60 countries around the world, while still remaining to be an independent business.

Installed a 20Kw solar array on their warehouse
Compost their milling waste and use this to increase the carbon content of the herb field soil
Consolidate international shipments – significantly cutting the carbon cost of transportation
Draw water from a borehole – sunk on the farm
Use 100% recyclable, fossil fuel-free packaging – wherever possible
In partnership with Viridor, a compressive recycling and zero to landfill waste streams
