Jenny Phillips
Profile:

Jenny Phillips is an established Nutritional Practitioner, with Degree level qualifications in Chemistry and Nutritional Medicine. She herself recovered from cancer in 2003. Jenny utilises functional medicine and can draw upon extensive clinical testing. Often people with chronic illness tend to demonstrate, at a cellular level, that they have nutritional deficiencies. These could include aspects of energy metabolism, the integrity of cellular membranes, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Digestive health and hormonal balance (thyroid, adrenals, oestrogen) can be assessed and supported with nutrients. She also works with people to minimise the side effects of cancer treatment. Jenny is a founder member of www.bsio.org.uk. She is a yoga teacher and offers retreats for those recovering from cancer and striving to make lifestyle changes that reduce the risk of recurrence.
