Thermography Scotland provides specialist medical thermography services using high-resolution thermal cameras to detect the infrared emissions coming from the surface of the body, to assess heat distribution and physiological activity within the body.
Thermography is a safe, non-invasive, radiation-free and contact-free imaging technique that requires no injections, no ionising radiation, and no breast compression. The thermoscan is quick and comfortable, involving only the capture of thermal images.
Thermography provides a functional view of inflammation, blood flow, and vascular activity that may help identify early changes associated with breast health, thyroid and dental inflammation, vascular dysfunction, musculoskeletal problems, digestive stress, and chronic inflammatory conditions — often before structural changes become apparent.
Detailed reports are interpreted by experienced thermography experts and are designed to help clients better understand their physiology. The reports can be shared with healthcare professionals to support informed discussions about health and any appropriate next steps.
Thermography is not a diagnostic test and does not replace mammography, MRI, ultrasound or other medical investigations. Instead, it provides additional physiological information that may support proactive health monitoring and informed decision-making.
Services: • Breast Thermography • Full Body Thermography • Regional Thermography (ROI) • Upper Body Thermography • Follow-Up Monitoring • Sports Thermography: coming soon.
Who they support: Thermography Scotland are committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-informed reports together with clear explanations, enabling clients to understand their findings and discuss them with their healthcare practitioners where appropriate. Their mission is to bring medical thermography services to the people of Scotland and beyond — helping people move from reactive healthcare to proactive, preventative wellbeing.
