Aurora is a cancer charity established in Doncaster, to support and help local people and their families who have been diagnosed with cancer. The Aurora centres at Doncaster Royal Infirmary (DRI), Mexborough, Scot Lane and Worksop offer various beauty treatments including full body massage, Indian head massage and hot stone massage. Cancer patients receive 6 free treatments (excluding gelac and acrylic nails). Tinting, waxing and full body massages may not be suitable for all cancer patients so are given at the discretion of the therapist. Carers may receive 2 free treatments. All users are given a consultation on their first visit and a record card to note medical details. The Mexborough, Scot Lane and Worksop centres also offers reflexology and reiki. Scot Lane offers Wellbeing and Mindfulness Programmes (7 or 8 weeks) and Worksop offers Yoga Therapy.
