The Brain Tumour Charity is offering up to eight free counselling sessions to anyone diagnosed with a brain tumour or their loved ones. This is a remote service, offering free online counselling sessions via webcam, or over the telephone.
Sessions take place Monday – Friday, between the hours of 9am – 5pm. Their professional counsellors are not medical professionals, but are all appropriately qualified in counselling and have relevant experience and training to support those affected by a brain tumour diagnosis.
Counselling offers you a confidential space to talk freely about your thoughts and feelings. It can help you to process your experience. By talking to someone objective, who will listen without judgement, you can begin to bring a new understanding to your situation.
The charity also offers specialised relationship counselling aimed at individuals or couples whose relationship has been affected by a cancer diagnosis.
