Urtzi Cristobal is an individual and group psychotherapist who has been working in a specialist palliative care setting since 2007, working with patients, carers, relatives and bereaved relatives, as well as supporting and training nurses.
He is interested in helping you become the primary choice maker when it comes to your life and health, supporting you to make life choices that are right for you and engage with the deeper meaning of your illness. He is willing to support your treatment options, either if you have chosen conventional or alternative treatment, or even if you have chosen not to have any treatment at all. He helps you explore the meaning you make of your situation and addresses your concerns, whether they be of a practical, psychological or spiritual nature, as in his experience, working on these issues may unlock your stuck energy and make it available so that you can focus on your healing and treatment options.
If you are a carer or you have been bereaved, then we can look at your grief together and work on your resources to support yourself through these very difficult times.
Qualifications: UKCP reg Psychotherapist, MBACP (accred) Counsellor, MA Psychotherapy, BSc Psychology.
