Obitsu Sankei Hospital provides medical care from the patient’s point of view, builds relationships between patients, families and medical practitioners, and responds to patient’s medical needs based on the sharing of medical information. The hospital plays a role in local medical care by providing a variety of palliative care for the acute phase and cancer.
Ryoichi Obitsu graduated from the University of Tokyo School of Medicine Doctor. In 1981, he opened Obitsu Sankei Hospital, a base for integrative medicine. He is now the honorary Director of the hospital, as well as Honorary Chairman of Japan Holistic Medical Association, Chairman of Japan Homeopathy Medical Association and he has written over 100 books, including “Why alternative therapies work?”, “Health questions and answers” and “Holistic cure lessons” which can be viewed here.
