The Yorkshire Laser Centre provides a range of medical laser services to the NHS, including a range of on-site day-case treatments using photodynamic therapy (PDT), screening with photo-detection fluorescence bronchoscopy and a mobile service providing equipment and expertise off-site.

The Centre’s Clinical Director, Prof Moghissi, is regarded as one of the world’s leading experts in laser medicine and holds a significant number of senior positions on professional bodies, committees and publications.

The centre is funded predominately by charitable donation through the Moghissi Laser Trust. The centre has earned the international reputation at the forefront of medical uses in treating cancers and other significant conditions.
