Oncio CIC (Community Interest Company) was co-founded by Dr Nina Fuller-Shavel and Dr Penny Kechagioglou with the main aim of providing high quality app-based resources for people with cancer and healthcare professionals and supporting best clinical practice and research in integrative oncology.

The Oncio app is a free app available to anyone affected by cancer that aims to empower you to practically put integrative oncology tools and strategies into action. The app (due to be launched in June 2023) will provide 3 key features:

1. Interactive programmes aimed at supporting lifestyle changes and creating a broad toolkit for self-management, from nutrition and movement to psycho-emotional wellbeing and more
2. Symptom relief hub – information about targeting specific symptoms with non-pharmacological interventions, including what to discuss with your medical team
3. General support hub – general information on treatment support, as well as integrative oncology modalities and what to expect
