Nourishing Movement

The benefits of doing exercise whilst going through treatment and after are now well documented but where do you start?  When you are feeling exhausted the last thing you may want to do is get up and start exercising.  Lizzy has been working with people with cancer for many years and has developed CanExercise to help people improve or maintain functional fitness whatever stage of diagnosis or recovery.

‘Deep Nourishment’: This is a term Liz often uses to describe nourishing the body on all levels – body, mind and soul. Liz will focus on how food nourishes us on all of those levels and how important it is to find the foods and eating plan that not only provide all the necessary nutrients to support physical wellbeing, but also make us feel relaxed and happy supporting our emotional wellbeing and therefore further enhancing physical health. Liz will provide some theory and then practical demonstration of some simple recipes to bring it all to life.
