Jeanette Marsh is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor
Jeanette worked as the Head of Psychological Support in a specialist palliative care unit in East London Hospital. Her private work includes loss, grief, stress, work-related problems, the ongoing impact of childhood difficulties such as neglect, abuse and bullying.
Jeanette also works with cancer patients and cancer survivors. When someone is diagnosed with a life-changing illness such as cancer, there are so many tests, hospital appointments and treatments to go through. Often there just isn’t the time to think about what is happening. Many people find that, when all of the treatment is finished, that is when they begin to process what has happened to them. This is the time when therapy can be really helpful to help you reflect on what you went through and how it has affected you.
