As part of celebrating our 20th Anniversary year, Yes to Life is exploring a topic relating to Integrative Cancer Care each month, and this month we focus on connection.
Although there is a strong common sense or intuitive understanding that feeling comfortably ‘at home’ and connected with friends, loved ones, nature etc has to be a good thing, it’s only recently that science has begun to underpin this with research findings.
This knowledge can be enormously helpful in assessing our own situation and identifying ways in which we can become more ‘whole’ even in the face of life-threatening illness.
