Dawn Waldron speaks about the increasing respect in science for the role of the microbiome in our health.
In cancer as much as anywhere it is becoming abundantly clear that our lack of respect for the microbiome has cost, and is costing lives. Microbiome research represents one of the very first areas of science to straddle the worlds of conventional and integrative oncology, and in all respects it is proving to be a key element of successful outcomes. As with all things in oncology however, it’s not a simple picture, and therefore expert support is strongly advisable. Dawn has recently been turning her full attention to her own exploration of cancer science, and is taking full advantage of her significant ability to convey complex concepts to non-medical audiences.
