For many of us this lockdown feels like a not unwelcome pause from the busyness of our usual lives but for so many others it is catastrophic threatening their mental health, personal safety and security or with the loss of loved ones in the most difficult of circumstances....

Wednesday early morning routine sculpt exercise class online followed by 45 minutes Qi Gong and I am feeling relaxed with my energy high ready for the day. On arriving at my cherished attic space for meditation and work, I notice my wind chime is no longer hanging in the window but on my desk....

I wrote a while back about taking control of what we can do to help ourselves and others during this pandemic and letting go of what we can’t....

Easter Sunday. I woke up later and started the day in a more relaxed manner with coffee in bed, then pottered around a bit before reading a few emails....

Woke up at 6 am, got up and wrote yesterday’s blog. Sat around drinking coffee and taking things easy, letting go of the structure of the week – it is Good Friday....

Listening to radio 4 when I woke up and hearing the experience of a wife and mother of two children in their teens who’s previously healthy husband’s life is in the balance as he lies in intensive care on a ventilator....
