Kirsten Chick qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2003 and has been providing nutritional support for people with and recovering from cancer ever since. She has worked with Yes to Life for many years now, speaking at conferences and running workshops. She also lectures in nutrition at the Northern College of Acupuncture, and writes about nutrition – including her book, Nutrition Brought to Life.
Kirsten is known for being good at explaining the science behind nutrition, and converting it into practical and manageable advice. She tailors everything to the individual, including appropriate support for digestion, the adrenals and nervous system, immune system, liver, microbiome and mitochondria, and whatever else comes up. Specific blood, stool, urine or saliva tests may be recommended in some cases where appropriate, and Kirsten will interpret these within the context of your case history.
Your relationship to food and to your body is also a priority. Kirsten has been through a cancer diagnosis herself, so she understands at least some of the dynamics around this.
Most consultations are online, but there is also the possibility of seeing Kirsten in person in Hove, depending on diary and room availability.
